Extension for a metal tape holding 10 14.5×114 rounds. Fitted at both ends with special links for connecting to the next tape. Used, amongst other things, with KPV/KPVT large-calibre machine guns. After 10 rounds have been fired, the empty tape splits and falls away, so as not to hinder the shooter’s movements. They can be joined using a round or a cartridge case to any length.
